As President of Sanders Capital Partners, LLC, Mr. Sanders is responsible for directing SCP investment policy and decisions vital to the implementation of the company’s strategy. An attorney with extensive experience in finance and real property law, Mr. Sanders has been a steady fixture in the Birmingham real estate community and a pioneer in the national healthcare real estate industry since 1989 through his various companies including The Sanders Trust, a nationwide medical real estate investment group. He has served as faculty member for VHA, Inc., American Hospital Engineering (ASHE), and Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA). Mr. Sanders is also a published expert on healthcare real estate strategies in BOMA’s trade magazine, Skyline. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet at the University of Alabama. In addition to his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, Mr. Sanders graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and was a member of the International Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma, all at The University of Alabama.

Jackson Stewart serves as Executive Vice President & General Counsel for SCP and is responsible for the acquisition and development activities of the company. He is also highly involved in managing all legal, lease administration, and risk management activities. Prior to joining SCP, Jackson served as an asset manager with LIV Apartment Partners, LLC, overseeing the financial and operational performance across the company’s portfolio. Jackson was also an attorney with Wallace, Jordan, Ratliff & Brandt, LLC. During his tenure at Wallace Jordan, Jackson specialized in real estate law, commercial transactions, business organization and civil litigation. Jackson graduated from Birmingham-Southern with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and received his JD from Mississippi College School of Law.

Brooks R. Sanders, a co-founder of Sanders Capital Partners, served as Vice President of Sanders Capital Partners. Real estate was an integral part of Brooks’ life; from dinner table discussions as a child to construction site visits and acquisition tours later in life. Brooks brought with him a thoroughly unique and valuable body of experience and perspective. Brooks’ grandfather, Leon, founded Jefferson Title Corporation. His father Rance, founded and is President and CEO of The Sanders Trust, a healthcare real estate investment company. Prior to working with SCP Brooks gained valuable insight working alongside Mark Elgin of Stonegate Realty. He was also an active follower, investor and trader in the stock market.

Mr. Christian assists SCP with financial and tax matters. Additionally, Mr. Christian is a senior director of Tusk Asset Management, a family office for The Sanders Family. He was formerly a Senior Partner and President of the accounting firm Christian & Denaburg, PC for over 30 years. Previously, Mr. Christian was a Senior Tax Accountant with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young). His accounting and consulting practice was heavily concentrated in the Real Estate industry. A member of Beta Gamma Sigma, he graduated in three years with honors in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Mr. Christian has been an instructor for the AICPA on real estate taxation and is a member of the AICPA and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Mr. Christian has represented Mr. Sanders and his Real Estate investments for more than 30 years.

Ms. Albright has almost 30 years’ experience in corporate accounting and strategic financial leadership. Ms. Albright serves as CFO of The Sanders Trust, her focus includes Accounting, Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis, Cash Management, Business Development and Investor Relations. Previously, Ms. Albright served as Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Equity Resources, a multifamily real estate investment company headquartered in Birmingham, AL. Her responsibilities included overseeing the property accounting function, daily cash management, investor relations, and financial analysis related to the company’s existing assets and acquisition efforts.

Bretton Feringa serves as Director of Asset Management. Bretton’s main role is to ensure the day-to-day implementation of SCP's strategic plans for each asset. Brett graduated Magna Cum Laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Psychology. During his time at BSC, Bretton was part of the Men’s soccer team and a captain his senior year.
